Payment is due at the time of session. A 24 hours notice is required for cancelled appointments. If you must miss a session, please let us know as soon as possible. Without 24 advance notice, you will be charged for the full amount of the session.
Alluvial Counseling is committed to equitable access. We are also committed to economic justice. We back this up by investing in justice-centric movements. What this means is that a portion of your investment in services with Alluvial Counseling will be re-invested in radical, leftist, justice based organizations, and BIQTPOC individuals committed to their freedom, health, wellness and vitality.
Fees:
===Individuals: $140-$160 per 55 minute session.
Couples or families: $160 per 55 min session.
See Provider Section to learn what an individual clinician's service will cost.
Many of our providers offer a prompt pay option where the fee of service is reduced by keeping an active credit card on file. This could reduce the cost of service to $140.
Insurance:
=======Our providers accept Premera, Regence, Kaiser HMO and PPO plans, and Lifewise plans as well as private pay. Please see each individual clinician's profile to verify what insurance they accept. We do not currently accept insurance for couples or family therapy.
If you’d like to use insurance to cover your sessions and have insurance not listed above, we would be considered an “out-of-network provider.” In these situations, you will be responsible for the full payment at the time of your session. Your sessions may still be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. We gladly provide a super-bill that you can submit to your insurance company. Please know, it is your responsibility to discuss coverage with your insurance provider.
Ask your insurance company the following questions:
Do I have mental health benefits?
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What is the rate at which out-of-network services are covered?
Sliding Scale:
=======
For clients who do not have insurance and cannot afford our private pay rates, we have several sliding scale and pay what you can options. Sliding scale and pay what you can spaces are limited, and availability may be full when you inquire. For those interested in those appointments, please reference “The Green Bottle” below:
If you have a *Full Bottle* - you’ll pay 100% the cost of your session. If you have a *Half-Way Full Bottle* - you’ll pay between 50% and 75% of the cost of your session. If you have a *Quarter Full Bottle* - you’ll pay less than half the cost of your session.Good Faith Estimates:
=====
We are committed to transparency and want you to feel comfortable and informed about the financial aspects of your care. If you are an uninsured or self-pay client, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of your expected costs for services based on the information we have at the time of scheduling. This estimate will include a summary of expected charges for services.
Forms:
=====You will be provided with a link to electronically complete your paperwork once you are scheduled for your first full session.
